I wish you (or I) would have been able to keep him Debi, I'm sorry.

Thanks, Jeremy! He didn't crow this morning and I almost backed out of giving him away. At least I know that he went to live with someone who loves roos! (Thank you, Kim!) I thought about you today while we were driving home. It was hard for me to part with LD and it must have been even harder for you to part with your handsome roos. I empathize with you now. Some day I'm going to be in a position where I can have a rooster without worrying about the neighbors! Might have to win the lottery first, though!

Have to run out, but wanted to let you know that he's doing fine Debi. OK ya, he's in the house. Dog crate. I have to get 3 areas fixed tomorrow, so these guys have room.

OH.......he LOVES grapes. I need to grab more while I'm out. Funny he snubbed the watermelon just like Ziggy did.

I love these boys!

Ok gotta run

I'll take pics for you tis weekend

Thank you, Kim! His little sister Cosette was looking around the yard like something wasn't right. It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change in the flock now that the stud is gone. Yes, he does love grapes and tomatoes and raisins and dry outmeal and his morning plain yogurt mixed with brown rice or steel cut oats or mashed fruit. My birds are spoiled! My DH swears that they eat better than he does! Of course, he lives the bachelor live down in Santa Cruz during the week so that might be the truth!

There's still construction going on in the Rohnert Park vicinity, and more construction dust in the Novato area, as they are paving the median. In the evenings, from about Northgate/San Rafael to Highway 37 there is/has been paving in both directions.

Petaluma Hill Road runs parallel to the 101, east side, will lead almost directly to the fairgrounds. Stony Point Road runs parallel to the 101, west side, and is right in front of the KOA.

Hope to meet up with many of you soon!

Debi, we'll be there on Tuesday! I probably won't make brunch but I'll definitely be cruising the show that day. I'm excited, this will be my first chicken event. I hope there's a good variety of fowl being exhibited.

Text me! We'll find you! (It can't be THAT huge at the SoCo Fairgrounds...trust me!)

I am getting a little concerned about the trip to the show on Tuesday. I use a hand held Garmin (GPS) for directions & trust it to always get me where I am going but I don't know about this road construction you guys are talking about. I might get sent right through the middle of it. I had to train myself to travel around alone & I dread the thought of getting stuck in bumper to bumper, stop & go, traffic for hours because I don't know my way around. Csn anyone tell me my best bet for getting there from Turlock & avoiding the construction problems???
Thanks
