You don't need intervention - you need more Japanese Bantams! Here is my wonderful breeding trio:

And here are some of their babies from about 6 weeks ago, with super-surrogate Puff Mama. The babies are bigger now - about 15 weeks old, and getting that distinctive U-shaped curve to their back. There are 3 pairs, and they are absolutely darling!

I have more recent pics on my computer at home if anyone is interested...
Why are you doing this to me
I already have 6 new birds since Saturday! Probably 7 after I visit Karen.
That's just not fair! OK let me think about it. LOL
Dirtman would a cheap vaporizer work? I was also thinking of buying a fog machine from th Spirit shop to see if it would work. LOL I have to keep the roo. I started to show it to Ksyla and then changed my mind. Out of the blue I had to hear how much she missed Rexy. This one is now also named T-Rex. I told her if she touched him she couldn't go out back ot around any other birds until she had a bath. Next thing I know she has a paper towel in the floor with that bird standing there watching her do homework. Gotta make him better now.
Cheryl do you have lights out for your birds? I've never used them here, but my husband had set them up for mr at the last house, so had eggs all the time. I'm letting the birds that are moulting, just relax, but I have pullets that I think may lay soon if they have light. I think I might wait till middle of next month to start adding light though.
Cheryl I'm setting out raised beds and using plastic to get things growing this winter. What will you be planting> I'm working on things for us, the birds and the rabbits.
