Bay Area BYCers!

Cheryl, Now I'm crying.

I hope they're playing together, too. Our dog, Cinder, hadn't been able to run and play for years. She had arthritis, and walked very slowly. I had my hand on her, and it was a blessing to feel her last big breath, like she was soooo relieved that we had finally let her go.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

We're passing out homemade pies to our neighbors this morning, Buttermilk and Pumpkin, I hope everyone has a wonderful day full of good food, family and friends.

Jeremy, this is the way the day was meant to be, neighbors sharing with neighbors, families everywhere celebrating what they have, both in sustenance and relationships. Beautiful!

Kim, I didn't post about putting Cinder down when we did it (last Saturday). I was pretty down, and just disappeared into myself this week. (Otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to work.) Thanks for your supportive thoughts.

you guys reminded me to be thankful for Sam being in my life for 14 years. He was the smartest Border Collie I ever met, who we buried by our peach tree in 2004. I still miss him.
