How many eggs are people getting each day at the moment in our area? I was getting 0-2 a day for four hens. Is this normal for hens that are about 1.5 years old?

That seems pretty good to me for this time of year and 1.5 year old hens. Kern

Asking for friend. Her silky hen goes broody now. She is looking for some hatching eggs. I guess it doesn't matter what breed. If you have some for sale in South bay, please let me know. Thank you!

OhDear: I'm in the north bay, Santa Rosa, and have some Marraduna Basque Hen eggs for sale.

We are getting anywhere from 2-5 with 8 hens, half of which are <1 year old.
It should pick up as the days get longer.

I have two Red Stars laying almost daily, two Barred Rocks laying a little less and 2 Easter Eggers on break since December. All about a year old. So 2-4 eggs a day from 6 hens.
