Does Western have another location? I've been going there since 1971, but us hermits don't get out much.

It might be there only location come to think of it. Seems more like a pet store than anything else.

They also have a pretty splash silkie roo but one of his feet looked mangled.

Will probably be bought to eat. Lot of the roosters are sold for food.

What they are using now as the warehouse used to be the original store. A lot less farms in the county these days, so they cater more to pets. It's still a great resource.

Silkie's still have there blue skin? I'm not sure if there still a pure breed.

I think it's supposed to be black skin and black bones. I've seen them dressed in Asian grocery stores.

Some people don't trust buying mass produced poultry, and Western will buy back cockerels sexed as pullets. Hard to find homes for all of them, so at least they are going to good use.

I got my 1st shot of Pfizer vaccine yesterday afternoon the 2nd one will be may 1st.
The experience was fairly straightforward and quick.
I didn't feel a thing and had zero side effects.

I've heard the second dose gives side affects; my parents and grandparents felt pretty bad for a few days
