I am getting some straight run Marraduna Basque chicks from Greenfire soon and will likely end up with roos I can’t keep. Anyone interested in a Marraduna Basque roo? If I get more pullets than I can keep I would also be happy to sell a breeding pair if somebody is interested. They are a rare breed. Haven’t had them before but they sound great - friendly, pretty and resilient.

Great! So glad the rain is finally ( almost) over… Picking up chicks from Alchemist today, two Azure Eggers. Expecting six unsexed Basque hens from Greenfire later this week. Yay! My chick season is so delayed, because Greenfire didn’t have my chicks for my original order in March, but it’s just as well, with this miserable weather we‘ve had. Hoping to do some early integration this year, if the temps cooperate ( no electricity at my coop).
