Hi all! I’ve been lurking here since my partner and I acquired chicks 5 months ago, and have deeply appreciated all the great info this site provides. We’ve recently come to the realization that 3 out of our 6 silkies are roosters. We’re located in Santa Cruz, CA and unfortunately are not allowed roosters I’m posting them here (along with many Facebook groups) to see if anyone would be interested in helping us rehome these sweet boys. I have two 8 week old Marraduna Basque cockerels looking for a home. Amazing breed, friendly and hardy. Greenfire says this breed thrives under conditions that would kill other chickens. Marraduna is the lemon cuckoo color of this breed - gorgeous! We are in Glen Ellen.
