You shouldn't get me started! Ha ha. Playing with photos is one of my favorite past times. I can't submit it for any contests because the focus is off a little. I was using my Son-in-law's point and shoot camera so it focused on the middle of the frame instead of her face (but her pjs are nice and clear, lol).

If cost is an issue, just use a really big cardboard box. 3 feet tall would work great. Otherwise, just get large boxes, scissors and some duct tape to make a box the size you need. These are chickens after all, not gold bullion...

My first brooder was a milk crate. We had 6 chicks in there for 3-4 weeks lol. My last brooder was a 2.5' x 5'plastic bin used for mixing tile mortar, surrounded by 3 ft. walls of cardboard, covered around week 3 with some chicken wire

A few photos from this evening of my BBS flock, the lighting in these pictures are kind of off as the sun was already setting when I decided to pull my camera out. The chooks were enjoying the brush pile today, there's always something new and fascinating when you have a jungle for backyard.

This is one of the better shots I could get of a bird's lacing, it's really hard to capture up close.
