Just candled my welsummer eggs from Pinkchick Day 12 and 14 out of 15 are developing!!

I had two cuckoo marans in there that hatched i'll have some olive eggers and show girls in there in a few days and I the SPPR think thats it...

Could also be that somewhere down the line they used a Wheaten in their breeding program. They show up sometimes when hatching another color.

Anna Raven I finally got my bator warm enough and holding it's heat really well! Eggs are cooking as we speak! I have pure am eggs in there and EExblack ameraucana eggs too. I will save a few and hopefully get at least one pullet from those.

Picked up eggs today and then went to a Superbowl party at my oldest daughters house.

So the eggs I picked out are

1 Mottled Java

4 Barney's

1 BM

3 FBCMs

8 Wellies

I also went by TJ's and picked up 2 dozen fertile eggs there, so I could see if I could get those to hatch.

If I can get these TJ eggs to hatch I have a little plan to make a few bucks. We'll see.

Boy I hope, but I do need a bantam roo out of the ones that hatched yesterday and a Barney and LF wellie roo too. Hoping that'sall the roos I get and all pullets after that.

Yeah like that's gonna happen.

That's right, Cheryl. I remember you asked me when I first bought them--same gal in TX. How many did you buy, and how many days until yours hatch? I bought 6, she sent ten, my hens fighting over the nest took two, and my clumsy cochin whacked one. So, she hatched 5/7 in the end...
