Hi everyone. I'm in Livermore. Glad to see we are well represented. Working on a coop but need a design I like... So far 10 chicks all 3-4 weeks old. 5 RIRs and 5 BRs.

Hey Jeremy!
I just wanted to let you know that the Minorca laid her first egg last weekend.
She's turned out to be the friendliest of the three, and her name now is Hunca Munca.

Jeremy I made a mistake. Those lighter eggs were Barneys. The Wellies are nice and darl but one 3 have decent speckling

My FBCMs are nice and dark, but only a 6. Still good to work with. Need those Davis girls to start laying. I have 2 that lay 7's and 8's and for most of the laying period. Then again I have no idea how dark they are when they first start up, because I only owned them for 2 months when they went into moult.

On e of my TJ eggs broke, so only had 23 to set.

I can't wait to see what comes out of the eggs I won at the show! Due the 21st.

I really have to get the Sportsman fix pronto.

I had ordered those eggs and had to wait and I filled up both bators.

I sure hope I do this right. I used to be good at this stuff, but Bill always made it his job to fix things, now I have to learn all over.

Did I mention electricity freaks me out?

Sunny, you know I'll make sure you get some of the Barney's from the hatching eggs I won from tls_ranch. I'm working on getting an incubator right now. They should be good.

Sorry to hear your Barney eggs aren't darker. Mine are definitely darker than the orps. Freckles and Goldy's eggs are positively pink by comparison to the Barnies.

I'm really at my limit. I'm going to give some to Tim, some to you, keep one or two, and sell the rest. If I get any more birds my neighbors will complain. Tim is looking for a black ameraucana pullet or two, though.

Clark Kent is stuck with Tim's old birds, and isn't getting much action.

Some of the eggs I have in there are pure black ams but I don't have a lot in there right now. If there are any left from this hatch I will keep him in mind.
