Wow, you're working late!

Cheryl,

Hope the house you found will be OK.

So glad you've got a place to live Cheryl.

I'm in a hotel in atlanta, ga for a conference. Nothing chicken related. I miss the girls though. And DH and I agreed that eggs were NOT going to be on the menu while we re here, cuz we re too spoiled. We did have a nice omelet before we left just to get our egg fix for the week.

I will be on very little this weekend though. Y'all have fun without me.

So sorry to hear that you are sick, Cheryl. I hope that you feel better soon! When it rains it pours, huh?!

I agree that 4 must be the magic number! We had 1 given to us a year ago this month and quickly went out and bought 3 more to keep her company. Then 2 months later bought 3 more and now are waiting for our babies which will double the number. My girls and I have been looking for a place to rent down in the Santa Cruz area so we can be with my hubby 7 days a week instead of only on the weekend. Of course, the biggest requirement is that they allow chickens!

Good luck with the new bator Steff!

Cheryl thank goodness you have a precious friend to rely on during this time! Good luck in the new house and hope you feel better real soon!

I started with 5 chickies and now have 43 chickens all together (I usually do things in multiples of 3 and 5). Some are still little chicks though and will be sold at POL or earlier. Getting ready to set more eggs in the bator this weekend!

Good luck to all you fellow hatch-a-holics!!!

I really hope you get to retire to Ecuador. I retired last year and we're waiting until my wife can and we hope to move to someplace closer to the equator. My wife is from the Dominican Republic so it may be there that we ultimately end up.
