Thank you for the update, Cheryl! Congrats on the successful presentation to eBay! Now they just need to make the right decision!

Better, hmm not really still completely in limbo as to whether I can keep them, but it's almost definite that I can't breed and keep roosters, so I'm having to get rid of all my breeding stock... haven't even thought about the new Buff Laced Brahmas I just got

Wait - it looks like you're both selling Sir Giles and keeping Sir Giles. Or am I just confused...

I'm glad it looks like just downsizing and not getting rid entirely!

I have no idea if I'll be allowed to keep any at this point, but realizing now that the rooster noise caused this whole thing I won't be able to breed on our property. So in fact I will be selling the coronation flock. already have 2 people interested in them...maybe I should put them up for auction as I have no idea what to sell them for?? They are laying fertile eggs now as I have developing eggs in the bator that Mary is going to hatch

Wow! I went away to work on my house for a couple of days, and look at the havoc! Cheryl, I'm so sorry to hear about this. I quickly read all the pages from the last couple of days, so I'm not sure I got it all straight. Did you say that a neighbor called to complain about the noise? Or was it something to do with house inspections because of the construction?

I wonder if the Today show would have any interest, since they filmed that nice piece about backyard chickens at your place.

It sounds like everyone has been offering up tons of help. If anything does happen where you would require help moving chickens or coops, or building new coops, count me in! I'm handy with a hammer, or any other tool, for that matter.

I sure hope this turns out better than it seems. It seems horrible.
