Congratulations Cheryl!!!... I would be gutted if I were facing the same thing. Its Funny, most of the birds (4 of 5) I got from you are roos, and at first I was a bit bummed. Now I get it. Roosters are gorgeous and serve their purpose. So sorry you will have to give up the boys, though hopefully a forthcoming move to more rural areas will allow further exploration of Roos. Anyhow, I am so happy for you this has worked out at least as well as it has. Your hens are bigger than most peoples roos anyhow. Good luck going forward with the house and girls... Great news... nice to have good thoughts on grey days.

This is why I love BYC so much...all the huge hearts, understanding, shoulders to cry on...and those same peeps are ALWAYS here to help celebrate with you when you have a victory! I am so glad to hear (read) this news, Cheryl. I've had you much in my thoughts and prayers lately. I'm so sorry you'll be losing Sir Giles and won't be breeding anymore, but I am so glad about your girls getting to stay! I can't imagine a chicken-less Cheryl Cohen... that's just wrong on more levels than I can count!

Congratulations on getting to keep the girls, on rockin' your presentation at work, and we'll continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
