So what is your total now?

I ended up with 10 chicks, and 1 who zipped half-way and got stuck and died. There are two huge eggs that I will candle tonight, but I think they are quitters. Everyone else has been moved to the brooder.

Thanks, Debi! I candled those last two eggs, and they were quitters. So, the bator is getting cleaned and readied for Trisha's Barnevelder eggs next week.

My broody girls really deserve to have chicks. Their eggs didn't amount to anything. But, I'm really worried about putting some of the new babies out there.
