Bay Area BYCers!

I everyone! I have a little blue silkie roo who is about 12 weeks old. He is a beautiful little boy and a sweetheart. Would love to find him a new home. I bought he and his sisters from Sheri Minker. He is a frizzle. I think I said that right, but Sheri said he isn't show quality because he only has four toes. She did say that he would be perfect for breeding purposes. Anyone interested? I live in a no crow zone or I would keep him.

Wolftracks - Thank you for even thinking about it!!! I'm just hoping that I can rehome the little guy! I actually have 3 little roos, a buff silkie and a black astralorp, but this one is a special little guy so I would really like to find him a home rather than take him or sell him to someone that might make him a meal....

Dont want to think about that!!! Thanks again!

I am also from the bay area.....living out on the very edge now - Oakley to be exact. We just purchased our chicks about 3 weeks ago and finished building our coop last weekend! The babies sure love it.....now, if I can only get my dogs to stop harassing them through the fence!

Would love advice and would love to get to know others in the area who are chicken-obsessed!!

Are you sure you want to meet more chicken crazy people??

I'm Kim. I've lived in Modesto the past 2 years, but Bay Area before that.

If you need chicken advice this is the site to be on. Hope you're enjoying your new babies.

Hm... should we be planning the 2011 Bay Area chickenstock by now?

The one in Kelseyville was May I think of last year.

I know there was another one, but I didn't go.

We had one last October at Cheryl's place, so it's getting close to "that time" again, I think...
