Yup, they look like Runners.

The ones at the show I didn't recognize as Runners until I read the entry tag. Nice birds Walt!

I wanted to add a few Runners to our Holderreads order but apparently I'm the only one at home who appreciates their looks.

Hey Jeremy,
Kate that you met Tuesday has Hollerod (sp) white runners. She says they lay a blue egg......

they do. So do mine. Holderread has some of the best runners in the US.

Karen they are Rose Isgrigg line. My roo is nice but has too many points that I need to breed out, so hoping my girls can help with that.

These are pics from a few months ago when they were pretty young, and just noticed a lot of feathers in the pen, so think they are starting to moult. Figures.

I know...he is down to about 16lbs right now. Maybe I can feed him more.

Yeah pathetic, but so am I so he'll fit right in.

I love him. I fell in love with Shamos in January at the show. After that I just love seeing everyone's birds.

What is the heigth of the Shamos? I thought I saw 1or 2 at the Santa Rosa show but they were way small. Come to think of it I was distracted & never actually looked at the cage card, maybe they weren't even Shamos. I was thinking Shamos were like 30 or 32" tall?????? I think Illia raises them.

Pushing 30" right now. They grow for three years. They look small because they are compared to mine, but the females are a lot smaller than the males.
Mine are really bigger than they should be and I like them like that. When I show a male I have to put a 4" board around the cage to lift it up high enough so that the bird can stand upright. A cock should be 11# and hen is 7#. That bird will go past 32".

Edited to stay out of trouble...hahaha..... Don't believe everything you hear on this site. Illias birds are from some hatchery.

This is my mouser.....except that is really a rat. That kind of gives some scale to this wheaten female

This bird is 34" tall

They actually look wider now that they've grown out. Still I'm listening. I need pointers on everything with feathers here.

Now ya don't need a cat when you have a bird like that!

Ohhhh does she eat cats? I need her.

The black male could probably eat a small cat.

Well then you have to breed them bigger, bacause I have some big cats around here that eat chickens. Maybe mixed with Emu or Ostrich.
