Maybe that's why! My daughter had fun slipping apples to the donkeys and horses, though! The swimming pool is heated and really nice! They also have a covered group "kitchen" area where you can cook and eat at tables. It is the perfect place for group camping! And if you don't like tent or camper camping, they have different sizes of cabins that you can rent. I'll volunteer to help organize a group camping trip next year!

I know it is still early, but count me in!! My tent and gear are always ready to go!

Me too! I love camping and camping with a group is the best!

thanks Sandy , he's snuggling in my lap, a bit hard to type but he's worth it. I'm putting the 3 SPPRs in with their rooster man for the first time this weekend. I hope they don't boss him around too much !

Post 5477, we just got home and he's sleeping, what a fun baby. SO soft, he's an Australian Chocolate Labradoodle. I know I know designer dog. But the breeding on this Australian variety goes back 20 years, has some cocker mixed in way back when and is completely non-shedding after 20 years. He's so sweet. Hope Larry and I can keep with him! Toby, our chocolate lab, seems completely non-plussed by his presence. Cooper the yellow lab wants to play, but he's too rough, so this will take some extra effort.

We were going to name him Dakota but now are continuing to think up names, so who knows

Oh Anna thank goodness, it's always amazing to me how because we only see them a bit each day, that one day they seem perfect the next morning, deathly. Glad the rest of your flock is good. Now your new Mille Fleur Leghorns hopefully will fill the void. This batch a especially friendly!

Thanks Anna, I'm trying hard to do a good job with them. Breeding feeds my hatching addiction. Just hatched 3 buff-laced brahmas and 4 buff laced polish last night! Lots of new babies here!

Friendly Leghorns? Wow. That'll be a nice change. I like friendly girls.

Willow was a good layer but not terribly friendly. That's one reason I knew she was sick. I could just walk up and pick her up and pet her. Poor girl.
