Bay Area BYCers!

Do you have Oxine? I had a new bird that was clearly not well after I got it home. Quarentined and then not only sprayed her, but every single bird. After 3 days she was great. I'm still spraying out there since I'm not sure why I lost roos the past few months. I also add it to the water.

Sorry you didn't get to stay. I'm trying to get something together for after the first of the year out towards the Valley. It's really not as far as people think, so maybe you can make it. And you really want to go to the show in Stockton in January Trust me. You reeeeally want to go.

BTW... I have several things listed in the first post on the California thread if any of you are interested in attending more bird events.

Thank you all for making today's Chickenstock happen, even with the less than favorable weather I still feel like the party was great and hope you all had a good time.

Thanks again to everyone who helped reserve the location at the Zoo, I hope y'all all enjoy the goodies I picked out for you and thank you Cheryl for doing such a terrific job gathering donations for this year's event. We had some great prizes this time around.

Rob, you mentioned I should post the Bingo game card somewhere on the forum, do you have link to where it should go?

To those who took photos, please please please post them on this thread and the Bay Area BYCers thread, too.

Alright, now I'm gonna go enjoy this rainy evening and take a nap...

I don't have Oxine. Venus actually looks much better. No foam now. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to do anything else. She is quarantined, and looking pretty miffed about it. If there is no more foam, and no one else shows any signs, I'm going to put her back. I think it's very probable that she got a scratch in the wild fight for dried meal worms. Those things are dangerous!

Love the pic, Jeremy!

Well I'm deeply sad I didn't make it out, however the health took a bit of a turn for the worse. Family Doctor came out, wasn't too thrilled with the way my lungs were sounding so I'm on a heavy dose of Cough Syrup and Codeine.

. I'm sorry hopefully we'll all be able to do another get together, or mingle in January for the show. I'll be there for sure, as I am showing this year.

We are back and our family had so much fun. My girls really enjoyed playing with the other children! Hubby and I had fun too!

Well one has a home already with Cheryl. We did some trading today so I will be contacting her after they hatch. I REALLY hope the Olandsk dwarfs make it. I would love to have a pair of them. It worries me they came all the way from Florida. I hope the P.O was kind to them. I have done shipped eggs twice and both times got 50% to hatch. When I hatch my own I get about 90-95% hatch rate. So wish we luck with these special eggs.
