Bay Area BYCers!

Does anyone have any interest in Black or Blue Barred Rocks? They are good quality, from Halo on this site. I wanted blues, and did end up with blue hens, but the only surviving roo is Black Barred so any chicks will be 50% Black barred and 50% Blue barred. I love to hatch, but have no more room. If there is some local interest, I will hatch some and sell them for about $5.00 each.
I could hatch some BBS Ameraucanas from mostly Pips and Peeps stock too, if they would ever start laying!

I could also through in some guaranteed blue EEs - I have a splash Ameraucana roo over EE hens, the color chart says they will all be blue regardless of the color of the hens, which are the usual EE color (although one is hiding silver, got a silver EE last year)
Someone help me with this hatch addiction, before I have to build another coop!

Blue Barred Rocks? Yes please! Lemme know when you're hatching, I might be able to make it coincide with one of my hatches and brood the babies together.

Kim, once I've hatched the colors I want from this trio I'll probably be selling him, it's just too risky to keep a rooster here in the city right now. I'm probably being a bit stupid keeping him here at home but I just couldn't miss the opportunity to get started with this project using this guy. I can let you know when I'm ready to rehome him?

Jeremy there's a new member, Pet Peddler. He's near Karen in Turlock. He raises Asils and he was telling me about sound boxes he built for his roos. You should talk to him and see if one of those might help you. When I heal up, I'm going to see what I can do about building them. Would sure be nice to have them right now, but I have at the least, 5 weeks in this cast. After that, look out! Maybe when I start getting more Silver Phoenix eggs we should do a little trade. I'd like to add some other colors to my Sumatras.

Well, I was thinking about putting some in this weekend. I can wait a bit if need be, let me know. I can only put in 18 at a time, but I don'thave that many yet.

I have a question about King Feed and lima beans. Do you know if the lima beans are cooked or processed to remove the anti-nutrient properites of them. Apparently all legumes do this so I am fairly sure they are safe.

I just want to check before I buy some of the Natural Soy-Free layer pellets.

Thanks!

Ron

We need to talk you through building a bigger incubator!

Oh no, don't get me started - I just put the finishing touches on my second coop, have a floor to finish in my bedroom, would like to redo the bathroom and the kitchen, plus the job, the business, the horses, etc etc. But of course, being the fool I am, I would love to build a big incubator!
