They're awful. Calls aren't anywhere near as bad. At least not in my experience. Then again, the girls will go all orange is the new black on each other if there aren't any drakes around. Pervert creatures.

Doesn't really matter if there are plenty of Drakes around or not.

Pekins are the meat ducks. White layers are the egg producers.

Any are edible. Calls get sold pretty much as pets.

I prefer to eat the larger Cayuga eggs over the call duck eggs but I do eat those too.

im sure you can guess my answer is not until forced with no other option. some really bad side effects and is not a true vaccine in the sense that you protect yourself and others. it only masks symptoms and reduces risk of you getting severe symptoms. you can still spread the disease to others.
a little trivia.....what disease is the US was basically eradicated through vaccine until the government switched to a “live attenuated” formulation that could be spread the disease to caregivers

First part: crap. Really? I was under the impression that it was an actual vaccine.
Second part: flu?
Aside from being able to translate medical journals, I find it difficult to find reliable information. However, medical journals aren't always the best option either. After the danger of cigarettes was known (very early on) JAMA still ran advertisements and doctors were still recommending menthol cigarettes for a sore throat until who knows how long.
Im just playing it by ear.
