Are these springers or Brittanys?
Love both of these too!! I think the sporting breeds are my favorites!! Such good dogs!! Although I like herding breeds too but haven’t met very many.Springers!!!
Yep. All in what you're looking for. Pickles, the littlest aussie, is super trained already. He's also the sweetest, and most personable. Owners. Man, what a difference.See, for me I love dogs that think and know what you’re saying and stuff, it’s so much fun, but at the same time, smart dogs are a huge PITAcause they know how to be bad and are always scheming and plus have to work harder to keep them entertained and not bored. Whereas the dumb ones are just happy being loved on LOL both have their place. ❤ I love training so for me smart ones are more fun to work with from that perspective
but then again they don’t necessarily have to be smart to be able to work. Sometimes they just need to have that drive. ❤ Like how most Labs are big loveable dopes but would do anything for food or a ball

Their ears.Springers!!!
Wife had a border collie/kelpie/blue heeler mutt when we met. Smartest damn dog I’ve ever been around. Possibly smarter than I was.Love both of these too!! I think the sporting breeds are my favorites!! Such good dogs!! Although I like herding breeds too but haven’t met very many.
She used to drag them through her water bowl as a puppy. Infuriatingly adorableTheir ears.
I keep thinking I'll get a golden next time. Purebred. Responsible breeder. Do it right... but I'm a sucker. I can almost guarantee that I end up with a other rez dogthat they found in a dumpster.Wife had a border collie/kelpie/blue heeler mutt when we met. Smartest damn dog I’ve ever been around. Yeah it really depends for sure! Like I absolutely love the big cuddly dopes but then I also love that Libby knows a bunch of tricks and can do a lot. Gator could do and he was actually kinda the best of both worlds cause he was so loving and sweet but also so smart and able to learn a lotYep. All in what you're looking for. Oh they’re totally smarter than humansWife had a border collie/kelpie/blue heeler mutt when we met. Smartest damn dog I’ve ever been around. Possibly smarter than I was.
Get a male. I can't stand aussies, honestly. They bark non stop, too high energy, and I'm just not into the herding breeds. They're smart af, though. Crazy smart.Yeah it really depends for sure! Like I absolutely love the big cuddly dopes but then I also love that Libby knows a bunch of tricks and can do a lot. Gator could do and he was actually kinda the best of both worlds cause he was so loving and sweet but also so smart and able to learn a lot ❤ But he was also quite lazy
But yes! Owners definitely make a difference!! DB & SIL’s dogs are so trained and such good dogs and they’re almost too strict but they’re so good whereas Gator had a lot of problems because every rule I tried to impose my dad thought was “mean” and he spoiled himhe listened to me and I was able to train him to pretty advanced stuff but he was never able to be fully not annoying
I want an Aussie so bad. As soon as I’m able, that’s what I’m getting. I want a lot of other breeds too but I feel like the Aussie is the best fit. Especially since I want a sports dog too.
