Please, put me on your list for notification of Black Copper marans. I'm not 100% that I'll be incubating, as I have had such poor luck doing so - but if you'd add me to your list, I'd appreciate it.

Your copper blacks look great. who did you get your breeding stock from?

They are Wade Jeane line and Channing Grisham. They are quite nice, thank you. They were bought locally.

maybe we could trade eggs? I have one dark layer, one barely brown enough layer, the other lay just a few odd looking eggs then quit from the fowl pox and has not started up yet. The dark layer has turned out to be a spectacular producer, day after day after day, consistent size and color every day, never quit during the pox, the heat, you name it. She is the prettiest one too.
