I noticed she was standing on one foot this AM which you know, sometimes they do and just not mid afternoon she up on roost and noticed some blood by her foot. just a spot. she favors it. must hurt! cleaned with peroxide and then neosporin. anything else i can do? i am going away in two days. will be gone for 10. my husband will be taking care but really, he is not up to the task of being a chicken nurse unless i can tell him specifically what to do. then he can do it. he give chickens pills way better than i do! think it will be fine? appreciate any feedback to help her and ease my anxiety. hard enough to leave them in best of circumstances!
