As of right now, we have 10 pures and one mix on the property. I have one, and my dad has 3 females and 6 2-week-old pups. I only have a pic of mine and the mix right now, but I'll try and get pics of the others.

They have learned that they can bark, so funny!

I have a pack of four right now. I used to keep ten or twelve, but they have gotten sooo expensive for just decent ones. I have also been having a problem with them running deer. I had to bring back the last three I test ran, and they were supposed to be "deer proof". Jambo is my jump dog, but he will fall back in and run with the girls after the initial jump. We killed nine rabbits last time out, but they ran twelve. (we did some bad shooting) I do love my beagles. Does anyone else have problems with getting deer runners from breeders?

We've never bought one from an actual 'breeder', but we have had some that would chase deer. If they aren't trained properly, they will chase just about anything, and deer are a lot bigger than a meesly rabbit! We have been lucky with ours, the mixed that we have will chase anything, so we make sure she is tied up when we let the others loose. I would switch breeders, as they should know which dogs they have to train with are chasing deer. They should know better than to let them train new pups.
