Beak tip

Not sure why but all my isa Brown chicks seem to have chipped the tips of their beaks. This happened early on when we got them. It doesn't seem to affect them. I thought maybe they just chipped them and it would regrow but it hasn't. I haven't seen them do anything that chip their beaks. My silkies are fine no chips in those beaks. Any ideas?

Your not mistaking the loss of the chicks egg tooth for a chipped beak are you?

Or were they de-beaked at the hatchery?

They weren't de-beaked when we got them. I noticed the first one a few days after we got them them I noticed the others later on. We have had them about 2 months now. Their beaks do not come to a point it just looks chipped. I will try to get a picture if they will hold still.
