Bear Country...?

This critter ran across my yard this afternoon! It is unusual for bears to be in our area, but it is becoming more and more common! I got a picture as he ran by my window...DEC says he is a young male, probably 150-175 pounds!! YIKES! My chickens are fine, the bear didn't bother them or their food!

Well. That was exciting. I hope he keeps right on running in the direction he is headed.
