Almost looks like she was waving in the first picture!
The mother's cub was stuck in a tree, and the mother was just hanging around the tree trying to help. The cub eventually got down. It was the cutest little thing
The whole neighborhood was crowded around the area!

As long as she doesn't come back I don't see the real concern. We get bears sometimes, and usually someone calls if they hang around. Otherwise they go as they please. Hopefully she wont hang around.

Yup. She didn't do anything to the chickens - she didn't get even close to the coop
Aw, I would've liked to see a bear... We have 4 acres but we live in town, so no bears.
Pretty sure. Nobody touched it. We let them be, and everything worked out
We also live in town. Which was partially why it was shocking to see a bear. Not the first time though! My neighbor once told us that a bear came right onto her porch, and when she opened the door, she almost jumped out of her socks!
