I have wild turkeys passing through my yard on a fairly regular basis, and the flock contains several bearded hens. It appears to be fairly common in wild birds.

I could not find a photo to show a bearded hen. I currently have two that have tiny beards and i used to have a bourbon red hen with about a two inch beard. I do have a photo of my sweetgrass hen displaying which she does occasionally when she's feeling spry, she's on the right.
