bearded silkie vs non-bearded silkie pics?

There is no overall "preference" towards bearded birds. Yes, they are more common, and more popular, but there is no increase in their intrinsic value--other than individual's personal preferences..

Very easy to tell the difference as chicks.

I am pretty sure I got the bearded silkies.

My black silkie is still SO tiny! they are 3wks, and she is half the size of my while silkies....

No, just these two babies given to me when I bought my reds, they've been living in my living room for months after I found out they were still too young to be outside
 
Yes i am pretty sure you can tell if there bearded or not as chicks, and i think the bearded if prefered.
