That's ok, I'm gonna post pictures of the beach where we will be all next week and make you guys drool!!! Wouldn't it be fun to get a bunch of us chicken people together for a few days vacation at the beach??

Steve, I like them both. I am thinking the one with the smaller comb may end up a better breeder. I have found it a bit difficult to reduce the size of comb so far. Since that is my issue, I would choose by the comb. You have much more experience so it may not be as big a problem for you. I would hate to have to make a choice between them.

Steve,
I have 2 of mine that I have been keeping also...look almost just like yours!! LOL I like the combs and I see no hard feathers in the cushion. Hard choice.. I have 2 out of your eggs, one boy and one girl..I would keep them a little longer..at least that's what I am doing..nice boys..

I have only ever hatched 1 chicken. A little white beardered silkie. Its till only little but I am so hoping it is a hen so I can keep it ( suburbis- no roosters allowed ) But after seing yours I am thinking maybe if my little one does turn out a boy- I can maybe make a night box or find some way to keep it around. They are gorgeous.
