Beautiful barnevelder-leghorn mix 12 weeks

Here are the only pics I could find, sorry for poor quality. The breeds I was told could be wrong. Last pic (orange cockerel) is her brother from the same parents if that is helpful. The friend who gave me the eggs had the 2 barnevelder hens pictured (she said one was double laced and one was not? I’m not sure, I’ve never had Barnevelders).

Her dad must have been the neighbours Polish

Hahahaha maybe that’s it! They did free range but Dave was their only Roo, I’ll have to ask if she knows of other nearby roosters. The only other birds she had at that time were a couple of Silkie hens.

Not that I know of, but I’m not sure. I’m going to ask my friend if she has neighbors with chickens

The white roo does have a small crest. But it shouldn‘t be so large in his children if he was bred to a bird with no crest.

She has double lacing and only 4 toes on each of her feet. If a Silkie was a parent she would have five toes on each of her feet and no double lacing.
