Title sums it up. I hatched some really interesting/pretty mutts this season. Ill show you mine if you show me yours!
This is Jax, the technicolored rooster. He was hatched by a broody and, somehow, is the only boy I got all season. His patterns blow my mind and he gets cooler looking by the day. He has gold hackles, a black/green body, white lacing on his breast, and splotches of cheetah print??

I love Barnyard Mixes! Probably because their is no guarantees of what they will look like and they are so unique!

I have a pair of silkie-game bantam mixes that are beautiful, and for a while I was planning on working with them for five years to try to get them recognized by the APA, but for now I think I am going to put that dream aside to do my silkie breeding. But I hope to pick it up again someday! I will probably take pictures soon!

I also have four month-old chicks that are silkie-game bantam mixes. But annoyingly, three boys and one girl!!! I'll have to rehome them as soon as their mother stops sleeping by them (so I can pluck them off the roost, they are very wild). Once again, pictures soon!
