Ever since my first two favorite chickens turned out to be male I am always concerned all my other chickens will also. For now I'll forget my wee chickens and post pics of them when they are a bit older, and focus on my older chickens...They were born sometime in December but I am not sure exactly when.

On the left, does she look more BSLish now? Her gold is growing in a bit...gosh I hope she is a she.

Also, just curious, I'm not too worried about the gender of my BR and BR/EE mix (they act so girly), but is it normal for a BR to have a few iridescent green specks on it's back? I didn't get a picture, but this is who has it.

Thanks in advance...I'm not weird for being so obsessed about gender, am I?

That first one isn't a black sex link, the color looks sort of birchen-ish
ee is a girl
barred rocks are girls. Any black bird can have the greenish sheen/irridescence on their feathers.

BRs can have green feathers? Well, I didn't know that.
As for my black bird....
