Bed time checks?

I check on my birds a couple times a day to make sure everyone looks well, are eating, drinking, laying & I check the coop for poops. I rarely handle my birds unless there is an issue so I mostly watch them instead. If I have to catch one I do it with a net or wait till they're on the roost. When I have them I'll check for mites/lice & general health while I have hands on. So far it's worked well, I see a limping bird first thing, or signs of coccidiosis, laying issues or something like that. I think DH thinks I'm a chicken stalker with the way I watch, but I know pretty quickly if something is off with someone.
