Bedding for linoleum floor coop?

OhhhhOK!
Even with HC on my coop wall, bedding gets thru.
I put up feed bags to keep it contained.

Yes! That's why I was thinking 4"-6" plywood "walls" on the bottom of the coop walls to keep in the shavings would help :) Thanks to all for the good ideas! I've never had chickens before!

I have plywood with FRP. I did not permanently attach the 8" plywood strips to the sides so every couple weeks I remove one and hose everything out one side. My coop floor is 21" off the ground so all the mess lands in my wagon and I dump it in the compost pile.

I'd go more like 6-8".
But I just sweep storage area and scoop it all back into coop every few weeks,
from the portion of wall that is not blocked.

The FRP is a really good idea...

What is FRP?
And do you really use a (garden?) hose in coop?
Makes me cringe to think of water hosing out a coop,
residual moisture can create perfect place for nasties to grow.

FRP is that white textured plastic wall coating on many commercial bathrooms. I'm not sure what it stands for...

I am not sure exactly anymore. Fiberglass reinforced plastic? Or maybe panel. I had a five foot by thirty five foot piece that was left over from lining a semi trailer.

Not too many places for moisture to accumulate. A couple 4 x 4 posts In the door area. The other end has a foot of FRP, and the sides are CW and welded wire mesh. Well I do remove the batter boards on the sides that hold in the chips.
And I don't wash it out often.
