Bedding for Nesting Boxes??

What do you guys use in your nesting boxes

I use my empty nylon mesh feed bags. Poop just flakes off when left out in the sun to bake and dry. In winter frozen poop just peels off.

When a bag gets soiled fold a new one pop it in.

Easy Peasy Japaneasy.
Best method I stumbled upon in my 67 trips around the sun.

I have my boxes 8 " deep and use cider shavings works great and lasts a long time. When it gets icky I sprinkle it in my compost and replace it with new. Last me around 6 months.

I love those old metal nest banks!
Too big for my coop so I created a facsimile out of wood.

Those 'roosts' are actually perches(roosts are for sleeping) to gain access to nests.
They also usually fold up to block nests.
