So our Black Copper Marans pullet turned into a rooster. He is sweet though and quiet, so we have kepts him. He is also crippled, but seems to know how to get the job done.
Well our salmon favorelle decided to go broody three weeks ago and so we let her sit eggs, not expecting much. Well yesterday we had a cute little yellow chick hatch out. Today two more dark ones came out and there is a green egg with some pipping!
The yellow one was from my BO/Americana cross, that looks like a BO with fluffy cheeks lol. The dark ones are from white eggs. so they could be White leghorn, Buff Leghorn, Ancona, Brabanter. Of course daddy is a BCM
Here they are, is there anyway to know sex by these combinations? And any idea which hen is the dark one's momma? The other dark kit looks like my Ancona maybe. It has the yellow and black. Will get a picture later.We have one trying to hatch out of a green egg right now
