Been very emotional since Wednesday Evening

He is so happy to be home. We stopped to get his prescriptions at Walgreens, come to find out they don't take what we have. Said they would transfer to Fred Meyers for us. 2 hours later I called Fred Meyers to see when they would be ready. Walgreens did do it, so the pharmacist said he would call and get them transferred and call me back. He called back said he got them and they would be ready by 5:30. Went to get them saw that the 5 injection blood thinners was not there. Walgreens didn't transfer that one, they were going to call and get it. We have never had to go on medicaid, so we didn't know what we would have to pay. I asked the pharmacist what percentage we had to pay, he said you are covered 100%, you owe nothing. When I got home I did a check list sure enough another one (heart rythm) med wasn't there. So I called the pharmacist and told him another prescription is missing, gave him the name. He said he would call Walgreens and get that too. Those two are to be given in the mornings.
Steve wanted Cheerios with half a banana sliced in it, a English muffin with peanut butter and ensure. He ate/drank it all. Took his blood thinner before eating. At 8:00 said he was going to go to bed, gave him his 2 bedtime pills. Helped him walk to the bed & get in. Tucked him in, gave him a kiss. He was wore out.
Scrappy was so happy to see him. Sticking to him like velcro. Went to bed with Steve and is snuggled up to him. He sure missed him.

Got a letter from PeaceHealth today. Had done paper work for financial help. They are doing 100% write off for hospital services for this stay and any hospital services until Dec 31, 2019. That is a worry taken off our shoulders. Ambulance Service is sending papers for financial help too.
Steve had been off work for 10 weeks, the company fought his unemployment. He was denied, he filed an appeal, had the hearing and the judge overturned the denial. He got a lump sum check on the 8th. Orientation for new job was on the 22nd, where they called 911 when he passed out. Store manager said he stopped breathing for a bit. He had just put him on the floor to start CPR, when the ambulance got there. Steve came to. What a first day impression. So no income until he is released to go back.
They are holding his position. Said they are looking forward to him coming back. Asked if there was anything they could do. Told them no, got things under control.

Update: Steve is making big progress. Walking inside the motorhome with no assistance. Even going up and down the steps unassisted. Today he had his anti-coag lab test. Almost at target was at 1.7, target is 2.0-3.0. He walked from the parking lot to lab, back to truck using the crutches (for balance). He didn't have get tired and no issue with balance. He is walking and going up and down the steps building his strength up. His appetite is back, has put on some weight. Diarrhea is gone, the antibiotics and steroid are working on the Crohns.
We have a new landlord. The property was sold middle of last month. Nothing is going to change, a friend of the old landlord's son (Tanner)bought the place for rental property. Kolbe is a real nice guy. Tanner had called him and kept him up to date on Steve. He told me if there is anything you guys need let me know. Saturday I mowed our area, it needed it. Kolbe said it looked nice and thanked me for doing it. I asked him if he knew someone who would pressure wash the motorhome without it costing an arm and a leg. He had a lift here and said he would do it or have Tanner do it. When we got home from the lab, Tanner was up on the lift. Said he got all the tree debris off the roof, but his pressure washer died. That in a day or two he'll have another one and will get the motorhome washed. He even had his leaf blower here to clean the area of the tree debris. Kolbe had to return the lift to his dad's business, so Tanner had to take it over to the trailer and load it up. While he was gone I got my leaf blower out and started cleaning the area. He came over and said you beat me to it, use mine it will go faster. Boy did it. Picked up the larger tree debris and put it in the firepit. Tanner said when he does the pressure wash, he is bringing a chain saw and trimming the branches way up. Said he will talk to Kolbe about maybe removing those 3 trees. Kolbe told me we have the nicest looking place of the RV spots. That we keep it so neat and tidy. My OCD pays off. :lau Kolbe told me that there are a couple of things he is going to do. One is turning the one big building into a couple large, insulated storage places. When I told him what we pay for storage, he said I'll give you a better price than that, that is too high. Then said he is going to put in another RV space over behind the shop, with a nice yard and if we want to move to it we would be more than welcome to. Said he was going to make our parking bigger, so the Tracker will be on gravel instead of on grass. That we need a bigger parking area. Showed him a tree I was concerned about. He said he would get that taken care of, he wasn't told about it. He wasn't told about the water pressure either, putting in a stronger pump and a 200 gallon reserve tank. Tanner found out today how low the pressure is when he tried to just use the hose. He said I pee stronger than that.:gigTold him that is why I kept saying check the filter. And when you use the water at the shop it just trickles here.
Tomorrow I am going to make cookies. Will be giving Tanner, Brad and Kolbe cookies. Of course Steve will have his share :gig
Forgot to say, sorry I hadn't updated before now. Been busy catching up on the chores I let go, was driving me crazy not having them done and taking care of Steve.

Yesterday Steve had the anti-coag test. He made goal! At 2.0, they now want to see him at 2.4 for the bumps that will come. TodAy he saw his Primary Care Provider (PCP). Said lungs sounded good, checked stomach for pain. Blood pressure was 120/80. Told me to check BP 2-3 times a week if top number goes to 150 to call him. Said keep other appointments. Released him to go back to work with no restrictions on the 20th.
Got his medical card filled out and a list of his medications made up for his wallet.
He is walking up and down stairs, walking in general with no problems. Appetite is very good. He gained 3.8 pounds!
Things are looking up.
