Beet Pulp shreds w/Molasses ??

Jim's right. There is not much food value in beet pulp. We use it for our cattle from time to time just to fill them up with fiber. Cattle need a certain amount of fiber in their diets, and the beet pulp is OK for that, but again, there is little feed value in it.
 
That's not great then. I was thinking it would be more equivelant to seed meal.

I grew a test plot of fodder beets this year and I'm going to try and do an acre next year. I'm doing the giant mangels with an eye to using them as winter feed for the cows and pigs. I see them everywhere when I'm in the UK and the cows can harvest a large portion themselves.
