Before we rehome Mr Marvin Roo...

He's beautiful Cryss, you did a fine job raising him. How's Miss Repecca doing these days?:)
Well, Repecca needs a bra I think. Her crop had always been huge and I think it throws off her balance which would explain why she can't roost without help. And because she is slow moving she is an easy target for Marvin. But she lets him know he's not welcome. I'm betting once she reaches egg laying time she would be chasing him, handsome devil that he is. But he s leaving soon. He's gonna be good breeding stock I bet. A stud!;)

Repecca's food boob is a little out of hand huh? She's a different little chicken all the way around isn't she? Such a little sweetie, Marvin is going to miss out.:)

Yes she is the odd duck...er...chicken. She is also the only one that wants to be near you all the time. She sits on hubbys boot as he walks around in the pen.

That is a gorgeous Roo!
Thank you, yes I think so too! Unfortunately I can't keep him. He's a noisy boy and feeling his oats with the gals who are still under age. He will be returned to the breeder in exchange for a Silver Laced Wyandotte and an Ameraucana pullet. It's happening Monday. I'm very excited but sad to see him go. He will be great breeding stock for someone raising Lavender Orpingtons.
