"Before you know it, it'll be Christmas"...

b.hromada :

If you notice, every year, they start to put up Christmas decorations earlier and earlier!

What about Thanksgiving?? I love that holiday, and they seem to just kinda forget about it.

They started putting Christmas stuff up in September! By the time Christmas rolls around, I'm just sick of the whole thing. I don't even get excited about Christmas anymore. A lot of forced dinners with family I don't really want to see, and money I don't really want to spend. And yes, I'm a huge Scrooge!

I like doing Christmas baking though. I think I will enjoy Christmas more when I have kids of my own. Their happy excitement will rub off on me and I'll have a reason to feel festive! It doesn't help that hubby is a Scrooge too. We grump our way together through Christmas.

THAT"S ME!

I liked Christmas when I was a kid. Never could understand why the adults didn't.
Har har. Now I do. If the crowds aren't bad enough, by the time you fight your way through they're probably out of what you needed anyway. Last week I went grocery shopping and bought enough stuff that I hopefully won't have to go grocery shopping again till after Thanksgiving. THEN I'll make a giant trip early December and hope to not go back until after Christmas!

I'm not even in the mood to put up a Christmas tree or decorate the house this year!

Glad I'm not the only Scrooge!

I love it all!! I love Thanksgiving!!! I love Black Friday! I love Christmas!! I don't have a problem with decorations being put early this year. With everything that is happening in the country that is negative, "I need a little Christmas right this very min..." Yeah I went there.

As far as the whole Thanksgiving hasn't even happened yet, I can be thankful and Christmas-ly festive at the same time!!
