Any tips on candling the brown chicken eggs and "easter" eggs (green). So hard for me to see, seems like the shell is sooo thick. Any positive comments greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

I recommend going in a pitch black room and get a narrow flash light. I like to use smaller ones then the egg itself so the light doesn’t shine up from the egg making it harder to see.
 
I agree on using a very very dark room. Also something that can make a good seal on the egg so the the light is directed straight into the egg and it doesn’t escape. I have a candler that has a rubber ring on it which seals well.
