I have cream legbar chicks in my incubator right now but have not hatched any yet. My understanding though is that the boys are lighter and look more like that grey one, the girls look more like that chipmunk one… (but maybe someone knows more who has previously hatched them).

And yes cream legbars are autosexing so they should’ve known this before giving to you.

The gray one isn’t a legbar. The chipmunk brown one looks more like a legbar, but the fact that the breeder called the gray one a legbar… just no, lol! And neither of those are ameraucana as they would have a pea comb.

I thought so too! You have confirmed my thoughts lol. They said that the brown one came out a dark brown speckled egg which made me think that it is possibly actually a welsummer. The dark brown speckled one

He juwt gave me more options. He told me that if they turn out being roos he is willing to exchange. Do any of these look like females?

Help! They are just 3 weeks but growing so fast! I was told that when I got them they are girls but now...I'm not so sure x-x...What do you think? They grey one is the one I am curious about. I bet the mother of that chick is a welsummer or a welsummer cross. Do you know what type of roosters they have? The chick does look like a welsummer chick but wouldn’t have the auto sexing capabilities unless the dad is also pure welsummer.
