That's good. I don't know what she is (breed) and I'm no expert, but that one looks like a pullet to me. So you can't quit, lol!

I am hoping I can exchange them for hens from where I got them from since they said that's what they would do if they made a mistake. Do you think I should wait for week 6 to truly make sure of their gender? I'm mainly freaking out because if I have to give them away then I feel like I wasted suppliesIt's too early to freak out. You have a ways to go yet before they crow, but have a plan. Will you try to sell them or put them in the freezer? If you can't butcher them, look around to see if you can find a place that will do it for you. Good luck.![]()
Yeah...I am trying to message them right now but so far they just told me they have chicks that need a home and he would give them to me for free but how about these two?! Driving me crazy over here lolOh, if they said they'd take them back, I'd do it right away. You've had a couple of pretty knowledgeable people here tell you they're cockerels. I don't think you should wait.
@Yardmom , and @Auntiejessi3 , do you agree this black one is a pullet?
It's in our messages. When you go to pick up the free ones, take the cockerels with you and don't bring them back. I don't suppose you have anything in writing that says they will exchange pullets for cockerels? Or is it on their web site?
