Beginner Needs Help! I was told its a girl but is it??

Neither of those roos are ameraucanas, maybe EE's, so their sexlink traits don't pass on because there is no way of knowing the parentage of the EE's. These folks don't know what they are talking about, just trying to sell chicks
Thanks for that. That is such a bummer. I was thinking at least the brown one could possibly be a pullet because of the solid brown stripe they have.

They would have chipmunk striping if they were cream legbar sexlinked chicks, like these... Not the best pics, but you get the gist

Very similar, but with the pics you posted of the parent stock there is no way it's accurate in your case. I'm sorry! And if they are telling you the grey one is a pullet that proves my point even more, generally the females are full on chipmunk and the males light chipmunk with head spots.

😭😭😭😭😭🐔😭😭😭 Thank youu

This breeder has no idea what they are talking about. Take your chicks back and get your money back if possible… otherwise you will just be getting more straight run chicks which may or may not be boys. They shouldn’t be selling “sexed pullets” that actually aren’t sexed at all.

Also, the black one is probably a girl, but it does have huge legs. Maybe that’s normal in some breeds. In silkies, if they have big legs like that they are almost always boys.
