um some red comet's and i think americaunas will be my first go. I would like to do some cochins and blue and lavender orpingtons one day but for now i'll start with these.

Yea, it's wierd-one day my temperature is perfect, then the next day I'm 1.5 degrees high!Seems like that is a common problem. I wonder if it is from heat generated from embryos forming, beginning to give off heat and the thermostats can't adjust fast enough to compensate. I might be completely off base but that's my guess. I will be putting mine in the basement so hopefully I can keep my hands off of them if they are out of sight!
Yea, the Little Giant is okay, but not easy to control. I had some fairly large temperature swings.I picked up my incubator this afternoon. I did not go with the little giant after reading all the comments, I just don't have the time to fiddle with it all day long. I went with the Farm Innovators pro series. Hoping it is worth the extra money. I plan to set it up tomorrow when I get home from work and am expecting eggs about the 2nd.
