Beginners luck or awesome eggs?

I bid on 18 button quail eggs here. I won and soon I received 25! I set them as I would chicken eggs. I have never incubated quail eggs before. On day 16, 3 hatched. Day 17, 16 hatched! Day 18, 3 more hatched, and today was day 19 and 1 more hatched. That makes 22 out 25 eggs! Not bad for a beginner. Thanks ShelleyD2008 for the eggs, advice, and support! I've got my fingers crossed for a 50/50 ratio of hens & roosters.

Well I for one think that is just awesome! Hope you get the rest of the boogers to hatch too, wouldn't that be great??

Wow....great results! I have 120 eggs in now...on day 10...hope they turn out as well as yours. Congrats!

I just hatched 9 coturnix from Shelley and they are "colorist" on my fallow cbbq: poor little ones said hello and the coturnix went running! Maybe the red eyes got to them? Still "colorist" LOL
