Granny's gone and done it again

Some of them are really hard to get down. I struggle with them too
Chocolate pudding. Have you tried putting them in pudding or applesauce so they are easier to swallow? I always preferred to use chocolate pudding for my patients. Lots of times I had to grind them up for people who had trouble swallowing whole pills so they tasted terrible. Mix them with chocolate pudding though and the chocolate hides the bitter medicinal taste IMHO better than applesauce.

@lovesfarms, the reason he couldn't give DH time released pills is possibly because if they have to be split for him to swallow them, it will negate the time release aspect of the pill.

Can't believe this pup. I made biscuits, milk gravy and eggs for dinner tonight. Pi zeroed in on my eggs and wouldn't rest until I cooked her two. Gobbled them down. Wanted more. I'd hard boiled a dozen before dinner. I cracked one for her and DH cracked one for her. I don't know where she put them, but that 18 pound pup just downed 4 eggs. That's after a big lunch and medium sized breakfast topped off with a small bowl of rice chex cereal.

no, never tried that. I take at least 18 pills a day. 10 for breakfast. That would take a lot of pudding. Used to give Roberts meds in apple sauce. He refuses to eat it now.

I do 14 twice a day. What can I say, I rattle when I walk.

Prolly won't take as much pudding as you think. You cold probably get 2 or 3 pills per teaspoon full. The pudding makes it go down smooth.

Did you wear pants? :gig
Actually, yes I did! And shoes, too! :lau

What i need is a good friend, locally to shop hang out with . Good friends are hard to find. People are busy. Or too old to get around much. And some things I am just too decrepit to do any more.
Loneliness is a curse of older age. I have a few very dear friends, but none of them live near me. It is a bit of a sadness. I'm grateful for the technologies that put them at my fingertips though.
