Beginning again

hi everyone I am super excited to say that since I left Mississippi in 2012, that I have finally decided to begin again with chickens.
I am now in Michigan!
We have selected our flock totaling 10 chickens.
1 Black Australorp
1 Jersey Black Giant
1 silver laced Wyandotte
1 buff Orpington
1 light Brahma
2 americaunas
3 asst bantams that I identified the best I can as:
Porcelain D’uccle
B.B. red
Silkie
All pullets.
We also picked up a few khaki cambell ducks.
In addition to the fowl, we have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses and a Betta fish.
We will begin building a coop soon.

Welcome! Betta, cat, chickens, ducks and kiddo people here! I'm a bit of a betta nut, mine lives comfortably in a 20 gallon long planted tank. It's great, he's so healthy and comfortable.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out. There are some down the bottom of the page which are duck specific.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock and/or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

My betta is not that pampered. But he does have 5 gal. I found one yesterday that almost made me buy another aquarium. It was black and white.
