Sometimes what I do is breeze thru the pages and only read the posts by the threadstarter. You can also click on their name and pick posts from their drop down and not have to sift thru the whole thread. Thread starters usually stay on topic, LOL

My pet peeve is when someone posts 8 pics in a row (arbitrary number there) and the very next poster quotes the entire lot of them, only to add at the bottom something like 'cute birds!' Page after page after page after page after page of that leads to me quitting the thread.

And those threads that are supposed to be about a certain topic but then people who know eachother well turn it into a friend's chat room instead, lol. Argh!

That's my way of doing the daily roundup. At least I delete the pictures.

I know, there were a few threads I quit because at my last count, seven people re-quoted a lengthy post that almost filled an entire page with the same ten or so pics of chooks, all to contribute two or so words to the bottom of the post. I don't have unlimited internet quota, I don't know about them though! LOL

Good morning I'm glad I found this thread. I agree! I was just thinking about posting to a thread but no one is talking anymore about the topic of the thread so it was kind of a bummer. I kind of feel like it's difficult for a new arrival to jump in, it's kind of like somebody interrupting a long standing conversation. Awkward...

I've decided not to post the questions I have had because there is alot of decent information here.

Anyway that's my brief rant for today. I hope everyone and their chickens are doing well!
